Bruce, you have the most incredible oasis at Osprey Lake! We had an amazing day on the water, snagging over a dozen gems. They are fiesty little guys and so fun to catch! Our cheeks are still rosy from the intermittent wind, sun and overall joy of the day! The bonus was meeting "Twitch". Only someone as affable and relaxed as you could convince a squirrel to call your home, his home. Mi Casa, Su Casa! Cheers buddy, Andy and Tj 101-5 SILK FM

Osprey Lake Retreat was our base for two wonderful days of cycling, downhill to Princeton and downhill to Summerland through lush countryside in full bloom. Our host, Bruce Merit, not only facilitated this by providing shuttles, he made our stay at the beautiful resort enjoyable, providing great food and lodging. We much appreciated our packed lunches. Thanks Bruce

We loved Osprey Lake Retreat (and Bruce & Simone) so much last year, we decided to spend another vacation there again this year. It was like visiting old friends. We had great food and conversation and especially loved Bruce's Korean barbeque! The resort is the perfect place to totally unwind in the quiet, relaxing atmoshere of Bruce's beautiful home. Thanks, Bruce! We will be back next year.

Osprey Lake Retreat was a great base to explore the Kettle Vally Railway by bicycle between Princeton and Summerland. We had fresh fish for dinner and a great packed lunch for cyling. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck after our day cyling. Bruce was full of good stories about the area, his travels, and how to train smarter(not harder). Thanks Bruce

I just finished a great visit to Osprey Lake Retreat and enjoyed some fantastic fly fishing with Bruce. He and Simone run a top notch operation, with warm hospitality, great (healthy) food, and stimulating conversation being the norm. There are lots of things to do, both summer and winter. We will definitely visit again. Thanks to you both.

Osprey Lake Retreat is as near perfect a guest house you'll find anywhere. First, there's Bruce who is accommodating, great company and runs a tight business. The house is exceptionally comfortable, clean and full of Bruce's beautiful hand made woodwork and photos. We stayed there on the Easy Rider package which meant we got to bike ride the KVR downhill, only. Bruce picked us up at the end of a five hour ride, drove us and bikes back to his retreat where we sat by the fire while he made us a delicious trout dinner, caught hours before.
